DM purpose: New Cambridge store opening
Wallace Cotton is a boutique homeware retailer. With the opening of a new store in Cambridge it was important to promote a successful store-opening event.
ActionHQ designed a beautiful invite letter and personalised lookbook. We worked with Wallace Cotton to extract data from the retail CRM based on customer location, spend value and frequency of spend.
The quality of the invitations had to represent the high quality and detail of Wallace Cotton’s homewares and product lines. The letter and lookbook were printed at Action HQ on select paper stocks and the personalised lookbook was bound with a sewn thread.
Results: From 500 invitation mailed, Wallace Cotton had 120 customers and their friends attend the store opening.
The event was a huge success and has put the Cambridge store on the map. Customers had a great time and were lined up from the Point Of Sale to the door. Within three hours we generated 3 days’ average sales.
