Action HQ explored opportunities to bring together some of New Zealand’s top Marketing Managers. A social cooking event was secured styled around Master Chef team challenges.
Leveraging relationships, Venessa Minkley, our Intelligent Data Specialist, based on her friendship with Brett McGregor managed to secure the cover design copyright to Brett’s latest Cookbook, CHOP CHOP. Each of the Cookbooks were also personally signed by Brett McGregor (New Zealand’s first Master Chef)
The covers were printed with personalised names and formed part of the invitation to the My Team Rules event – themed around My Kitchen Rules. On arrival each participant with also be given their own personalised My Team Rules themed apron.
The cover letter, address label and return address label was printed using brand new handwriting technology and personalised using XMPie software. Action HQ is the first company in New Zealand to trial the new personalised handwriting technology.
The campaign is still in it’s very early stages but the uptake has been really good so far.
A week out from the event we have already achieved an unprecedented 88% conversion rate and the direct marketing piece has been very well received by all, with everyone being equally impressed with the creativity, innovation and quality of the Direct Marketing piece.
